A cinematic trailer for the new “The Shadow of the Tomb Raider” released

Apr 27, 2018, 1:45 pm

Square Enix has done a brilliant job as they have recently released a cinematic trailer for their upcoming game “The Shadow of the Tomb Raider.” They have released an extended trailer today and every fan of the original trailer is going gaga over it. It has been a while since the last release of the Tomb Raider games. The new game is presented by Eidos Montreal. They have collaborated with Crystal Dynamics to make the best out of the gaming experience which includes the graphics too.

“What have I done” is the first question that Lara Croft asks herself in the trailer. The game is subtitled as “The End of Beginning” and she will apparently try to avoid a Mayan apocalypse. The cinematic trailer looks straight out of a Hollywood science fiction movie. The makers of the game have tried to show the rich culture of the Mayans. It also expressed her guilt-ridden conscience and the game can be regarded as her means of redemption. Lara appears to have to do what she does best but in the end, she is not sure whether she is right or wrong.

Daniel Shayer Bisson, the creative director of the game has mentioned that the main mission of Lara in this new game will be to serve humanity and save it from the face of apocalypse. Twitter comments were flooding over the new trailer. Many have commented that the developers have changed the face of Lara again. However, that seems to be a minor change. The Tomb Raider franchise was last brought back to life back in 2013. So the new game will closely follow the storyline. The main character Lara is voiced by the English actress Camilla Luddington.

The game will be made available on Xbox, PlayStation 4 and PC. It will release on 14th September 2018 across all platforms.
