LG prefers to launch smartphones that provide users with the best performance in an affordable price range. With the same intention, LG introduced a new series of flagship LG Q7, the successor of the LG Q6. LG Q7 series consists of LG Q7α, Q7, and Q7+.
To provide a super display LG Q7 features 5.5-inch FHD+ full vision display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It has a thin-bezel body which adds to the outer appearance of this device. It features a 2.5 Arc glass design with rounded edges for a comfortable grip with a single hand. The handset is water and dust resistant with the metallic body and rear metal frame, it can stand up to the rough and tumble of active use.
This device has been through 14 of the MIL-STD 810 G test, which is designed by the United States military to evaluate the performance of the equipment in harsh conditions. Q7 and Q7α are powered by 1.5 GHz octa-core Snapdragon and are equipped with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. At the same time, LG Q7 Plus features a 1.8 GHz octa-core processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The camera features of all three devices, Q7, Q7α, and Q7+, differ in some aspects. Q7 and Q7α feature 13 MP cameras with 13 MP and 5MP front cameras. At the same time, LG Q7+ is equipped with a 16 MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.
The camera can shoot 100-degree super wide angle shots possible in 5-megapixel resolution. These three models feature a Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) to rapidly focus on a subject. The portrait mode help users to get sharp portraits with a blurry background. It also incorporates QLens, which lets the user use the camera to improve the image searching and online shopping experience. QLens technology is equipped with leveraging AI technology for image recognition.
This series of smartphones has a finger sensor at the back. It runs Android 8.0 with a battery backup of 3000 mAh and has a fast battery charger where you can charge 50% of the battery in 30 minutes.
You will witness the best sound quality as LG Q7 Plus is furnished with Hi-Fi Quad-DAC, which offers richer sound without distortion if paired with high-quality earphones. Further, Q7 offers DTS:X, which will deliver virtual 3D surround sound.
Finally, the price specifications for the LG Q7 series are not clearly revealed. Insiders state that the price of each device in this series will depend upon the region and the market, wherein shipments to key markets in Europe will begin next month. The LG Q7, Q7α, and Q7+ will be available in three color variants, Aurora Black / Moroccan Blue / Lavender Violet. The cheaper Q7α is only available in Moroccan Blue.
