The annual developer conference is taking place at Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California. The announcements of Google made so far are about AI and Google News, Google photo, smart compose, AI and Healthcare, newly updated cheeseburger emoji and so on.

The new Google Maps flow for Assistant. The screen is to launch on Android this summer with special mentions as Google has been working with Starbucks, DoorDash, Domino’s, and other restaurants for Assistant.

There are numerous suggested actions while viewing photos such as the option to brighten, share, rotate or archive a picture, and these suggested actions are powered by machine learning, which means you only see them on relevant photos. The new feature will launch in the coming months.
There are likely to be new features for Google Assistant, as well as some new integrations for Google Home. Assistant remains Google’s largest competitive push against Amazon’s Alexa and, to a lesser extent, Apple’s Siri and Microsoft’s Cortana.
