The Senior VP of Meizu, Li Nan, shared a camera sample yesterday that was captured using an upcoming Meizu phone on his Weibo account. And today, Meizu has revealed through the official Weibo account of its Blue Charm sub-brand that the smartphone launching on May 29 is named “6T.”
A teaser has been released from Meizu confirming the 29th May release. The Chinese manufacturer is yet to confirm the specifications and features of the phone. It is quite evident from the sample that was released yesterday that it could be a selfie-centric smartphone.
As far as specs are concerned, beliefs are rife that the Meizu M811Q smartphone, recently certified by the TENAA agency in China, will be debuting as the Meizu 6T. The M811Q phone features a 5.7-inch display that produces an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels with multiple RAM and storage variants, such as 64 GB storage + 4 GB RAM, 32 GB storage + 3 GB RAM, and 16 GB storage + 2 GB RAM. These variants are powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor.
The handset is powered by a 3,230mAh battery packed with a selfie camera of 8-megapixel. The dual camera setup on its back panel includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The images also suggest featuring a metallic body and a fingerprint scanner on its rear.
Li Nan has previously claimed that the cost of the phone will be similar to the price of a PC hard disk which hints us that the Meizu M6T could be priced around 999 Yuan ($156).
