Moto G6 Launch In India

Motorola India had recently teased the launch of the six generation devices under its G and E series of smartphones. And now it officially confirms that Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play will make its debut in India on June 4. Originally the smartphones were first launched in the US without any further information regarding its availability in other countries. Right now there is no confirmation of the launch of Moto G6 Plus in the country.

The people who registered for the newsletters of major announcements from the company received mail sent by the company, confirming the date of launch of the devices and also of the availability of the devices. The Moto G6 will be available exclusively via Amazon India; Moto G6 Play will be available via Flipkart.

The two devices have been launched in Sao Paulo, Brazil last month, alongside another variant Moto G6 Plus. The launch of Moto G6 Plus in India is not yet been revealed by the company.

The Moto G6 features a 5.7-inch FHD+ display and is powered by the Snapdragon 450 that runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. The internals of the Moto G6 is a 1.8GHz octa-core paired with 3GB and 4GB RAM. It has a 32 GB and 64 GB storage options with expandable microSD card up to 128 GB. And for the camera, it has dual cameras on the rear 12-megapixel primary shooter and a 5-megapixel secondary shooter, accompanied by an LED flash with 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

Moto G6 Play in the meanwhile runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and has a 5.7-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The novelty is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 SoC, accompanied with 2 GB and 3 GB RAM options. There is 16 GB and 32 GB storage in the handset with 128 GB expandable memory. Both the phones will come with nano-coating which will make them resistant towards occasional water splash.

Though much of the specs have already been revealed, we still have to wait until next week to know the price of the two models in India. We hope that the company decides much of a meaningful price to compete with the others in the market.
