Samsung launched Galaxy J4 in India yesterday, June 1, expanding its range of Galaxy smartphones. It is boasted with the brand’s signature specs and industry-first features, yet another phone dedicated to selfies.

The new handset sports a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display supporting 1280 x 720 pixels with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It is fueled by a 1.4GHz Exynos 7570 processor coupled with Mali T720 MP1. The OS is Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Exp 9.0.

For selfies, Samsung Galaxy J4 brings a 5 MP front camera that comes with an LED flash. There’s a rear camera that’s equipped with a 13 MP lens and f1.9 aperture. The body bears a 2.5D glass design and packs a 3,000mAh battery.

Regarding storage, the device has two variants: 2/16GB is priced at Rs. 9,990, and 3/32GB will cost Rs. 11,990. Both variants are expandable up to 256GB via microSD. The color variants are black, blue, and gold.

One of the highlights is Advanced Memory Management, a ‘Make for India’ feature. It automatically directs image and video contents from the social media apps to the external memory card and deletes duplicate contents to save memory space.
