It provides for information as well as entertainment that keep people glued for a certain period of time. And Twitter Live News is just trying to make it better by making more relevant breaking news, events, and stories that will be easier to discover.
Exploration helps to discover more, and Twitter is just trying to make it easier to navigate by experimenting with topic tabs to explore so it’s easier to see what’s happening in news and entertainment. There will be new updates to search so as to make it simpler to find what you’re looking for, starting from today.
The ‘Happening now’ feature launched last year is expanding to include Tweets about breaking and personalized news at the top of your Timeline. You’ll get the relevant news along with the surrounding Tweets and videos that will be available in the later months on iOS and Android in the US.
Dedicated pages are created for the World Cup season along with individual pages for every game, including scores, Tweets, videos, and Moments. Available on iOS and Android from today, on top of your timeline in search and explore tab.
