On Wednesday, Instagram came up with two big announcements first that Instagram is now a global community, and second that they have launched their new feature Instagram IGTV.
Instagram is much excited to make its two new big announcements. Since the launch of the app in 2010, they have been amazed as it is greeted by its users making the app gloom and flourish more than ever before. IGTV is a new app for watching long, vertical videos from your preferred Instagram creators, like LaurDIY who posts her newest project, or King Bach sharing his latest comedy satire.
The new Instagram IGTV feature is different in some ways, it’s built in just the way we use our phone i.e. the videos will be full screen and vertical along with no one-minute restricted videos. Unlike Instagram, no videos will be limited to one minute instead videos can take up to hours long.
The new app is as simple as turning on the TV. IGTV starts as soon as one opens the app just like a simple TV, no need to search to start watching content from people you already follow on Instagram. The videos can be commented and send to friends in direct.
In IGTV, the creators are the channels so, whenever a creator is followed on Instagram their IGTV channel will show up automatically for you to watch. Anyone interested can be a creator, what you need to do is to just upload your IGTV videos in the app or on the web to start your own channel.
This all-new feature is all set to roll out globally over the next few weeks on Android and iOS. Instagram is much excited and hopes to bring people closer to each other and to the things they love and are interested in.
