LG X2 Designed for Low-priced Services Gets Unveiled, Sports 5-inch HD display

LG on today, June 28 has introduced in South Korea its new smartphone, the X2 that is designed for low-priced services, making it a budget smartphone. We received its specs that lack in certain particular details.

LG X2 sports a 5-inch HD IPS display supporting 1280 x 780 pixels. It is powered by Snapdragon quad-core CPU clocking at 1.3GHz. For memory, the phone has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It is expandable via microSD, but the limit is unknown.

LG X2 runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and packs a 2,500mAh battery. The single rear camera is of 8 MP and comes with an LED flash. Notable features are Auto Shot and Quick Share. The front camera is of 5 MP. The rear panel also features a fingerprint sensor.

The handset weighs about 152 grams and bears 4G LTE. Other specs include Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio.

LG X2 is available in the Aurora Black color. It is priced at KRW 198,000 or US$ 176 or about Rs. 12,170. It has been made available for sales starting today via four Korean operators: SK Telink, U-Mobi, KTM Mobile, and CJ HelloVision.

LG has its plans to come up with a new series of smartphones under the tag: ‘changed LG Smartphone.’ One of the focuses is on durability for these new smartphones, with the brand remaining true to provide ‘long-lasting LG smartphones.’ High product quality and customer choice are two other focus points of the new lineup. It could be possible that LG X2 is one of the first smartphones belonging to the series.
