Back in May, HMD Global launched the Nokia X6 in China. At its launch, it had 2 color variants; Dark Blue and Starry Black. However, the range has now been refreshed with a new Polar White color option.
The Polar White Nokia X6 comes only in one variant, with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The price of the new Polar White variant of the Nokia X6 is the same as the 6GB RAM model of the Dark Blue and Starry Black, i.e. with a price tag of CNY 1,699, roughly around Rs 17,600.
According to Nokia’s official Weibo post, with the new software update, the Nokia X6 will now let users hide certain apps from the desktop of the device. Nokia says that a new private app or a folder will be created, including all the hidden apps within it. The folder will apparently be protected by a passcode or biometric security.
The dual-SIM novelty runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, and sports a 5.8-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) panel with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, paired with an Adreno 509 GPU, 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 32GB or 64GB of internal storage. Storage is expandable via a microSD card (up to 256GB).
The Nokia X6 is armed with a 3,060mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support to keep things ticking. For security, there’s facial recognition support and a physical fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include 4G support, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi.
The phone which was launched back in May this year will be available on JD.com starting Tuesday, July 10 exclusively accessible in China.
