Hyundai has now set up its new showroom within Amazon. This initiative makes Hyundai the first automobile company to collaborate with an online retail service. However, this isn’t Hyundai’s first partnership with Amazon. Hyundai had already collaborated with Amazon back in 2016 and debuted “Prime Now, Drive Now” which let users set up personalized test-drive appointments through Amazon’s site.

Hyundai announced today that it has established a “digital showroom” within the greater Amazon Vehicles research hub. The new digital showroom will offer loads of information about all its latest vehicles and the descriptions will, of course, include pictures, pricing, and reviews. This will also help the users to book test drives without any hassle and check for local dealer inventories.

The new site also tries to aim at increasing the consumer’s knowledge about Hyundai’s tangential benefits including Shopper Assurance. The Shopper Assurance offers flexible test drives from a preferred location, straightforward pricing, and three-day exchange policy. It also puts some of the purchasing areas online so that now the consumers would not have to go to the dealer to make payments for minor things and it will definitely shorten the time spent at the dealer.

This collaboration with Amazon provides customers with the ability to learn about Hyundai vehicles in a way that matches their expectations for nearly every other type of purchase. Hyundai and its dealers are modernizing the car buying process, so it made sense for us to be the first car company with its own digital showroom. – Tim Maxwell, Hyundai’s senior group manager of digital marketing

The site is, more or less, like any other online shopping sites. The users can click on a specific vehicle and they can check out the pricing structure for various trim levels, colors and peruse galleries. The review rating is done on a five-star scale.
