According to the recent trailers on Call of Duty’s official twitter, Treyarch seems to be taking Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 into beta testing at the start of next month. The social media campaign launched online, by the company, has been used to make the fans aware of the launch of the beta, about to happen on August 3.

It is clear that accessibility will vary among gamers, with some having more access than the others. The first tests are expected to begin on August 3 at 1 pm Eastern Time, when the ones with PS4 pre-orders will gain access exclusively until the same time on August 6. Xbox One and PC users will have their turn on August 10, at 1 pm Eastern, although an open PC beta will start one day later, where you won’t need to pre-order. This round ends on August 13, same time.

There has been no word from Treyarch yet, on the modes that will be tested. Therefore, even if you are closely following all updates from the company and waiting for information on the battle royale mode called Blackout, there is no way to tell whether it is even ready to go, let alone testing it.

Overall, Treyarch going for the beta testing only two months prior to the release of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4, which is due to be released on October 12, is a good indication, although the little information they’ve provided has us bursting with questions.
