We’ve been hearing about Xiaomi’s sub-brand Pocophone for some time now, but this week we come across reports worth noticing. It is now evident that Xiaomi is working on a new high-end smartphone under an all-new Pocophone sub-brand and the company is apparently going to launch the smartphone in the global market alongside India.

According to reports the device has also received NCC and FCC certification a few weeks ago. The smartphone is apparently to brag its Snapdragon 845 as it is touted to be the cheapest SD845-powered smartphone on the market.

The Pocophone F1 will feature a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. There is also a speculation that it might have Full HD Plus display. The display is rumored to have a notch at the top and the aspect ratio will be 19:9.

In terms of storage, the smartphone might be available in two variants, one with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage variant, and the other with 6 GB of RAM with 128 GB internal storage variant. As for the camera, the smartphone may have a dual-camera setup on the rear, with the two sensors. There is no information about what MP sensors will be coupled at the rear. Same goes for the front-facing camera sensor.

Though the launch date of the novelty is yet unknown, the pricing according to the reports is expected to be 420 Euros (about Rs 33,500) for 6GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage and 460 Euro (about Rs 37, 00) for 64 GB RAM with 128 GB internal storage.
