Xiaomi Released Its Updated Variants , the Mi Gaming Laptop and the Mi Notebook Pro 2

The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has released its updated version of laptops in China; the Mi Gaming laptop and the Mi Notebook Pro 2 at the ChinaJoy exhibition. The new laptop will be upgraded with the latest 8th general Intel chipset and Nvidia Max-Q graphics launching in Shanghai’s New International Expo Center.

The new gaming laptop is upgraded with powerful Intel Core i7 and i5 processors sports even more monstrous performance. It has improved its cooling vents with three exhaust vents on each side of the laptop and other eight at the back.

The laptop sports 2 X 3W speakers with Dolby Atmos support with a 55WH unit of battery weighing around 2.7 kgs. Internally the laptop has been improved with thicker heat pipes and improvised bigger fans. The keyboard has 1.8mm of travel with four backlit color zones and 5 programmable keys. it also sports a 1 MP webcam at the front and full HD display holding thinner bezels.

Xiaomi LaptopThe new Mi Gaming laptop is to come in four variants the Intel Core i7-8750H CPU, Nvidia GTX 1060 with 6GB memory, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD which is priced at CNY 8999. The second variant; the Nvidia GTX 1050 (6GB RAM), which will cost around CNY 7499. Then comes the one with Intel Core i5-8300H and the Nvidia GTX 1060 Ti with 4GB RAM, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, and 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD, priced at CNY 7999 and lastly the Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB RAM that costs CNY 6699.

Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 2

As the name of the laptop suggests, the new model comes as an upgrade to the Mi Notebook Pro that was launched in September last year. It features upgraded, eighth-generation Intel Core i7-8750H processors over the Intel Core i7-7700HQ powering the predecessor. There is also a dedicated Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card with 6GB video RAM. However, the display panel of the Mi Notebook Pro 2 is identical to the Mi Notebook Pro that comes in 15.6-inch of size and with full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) resolution along with 72 percent of NTSC color space.

It comes in 2 variants; one is the latest Intel Core i7-8550U processor along with 16GB of DDR4 RAM, 256GB of SSD storage, and Nvidia GTX-1050 Max-Q graphics with 4GB GDDR5 memory costing CNY 7599. And the other is the second variant with an Intel Core i5-8250U with 8GB of DDR4 RAM, 256GB of SSD storage, and Nvidia GTX-1050 Max-Q graphics with 4GB DDR5 RAM with a price tag of CNY 6299.

The updated Xiaomi releases are currently available for pre-orders in China from the official Xiaomi website but the availability of these products in India is still unknown. Hope to find these products in India very soon.
