Ola’s approach in prioritizing drivers generates industry-leading commissions that further result in high earnings including daily payments. The major ambition of the company is indeed to be a leader in the industry by keeping passenger safety before everything else, and the UK is one new dimension in its endeavor on global expansion.

Its facilities to ensure passenger safety include DBS screened drivers, 24/7 voice support, in-app emergency features, and options for sharing ride information with emergency contacts. It is as well recognized for collaborating with governments and authorities for taking care of transport mobility issues in practical and innovative ways.

Ola is excited to announce its plans for the UK, one of the world’s most evolved transportation markets. The UK is a fantastic place to do business and we look forward to providing a responsible, compelling, new service that can help the country meet its ever demanding mobility needs. We look forward to our continued engagement with policymakers and regulators as we expand across the country and build a company embedded in the UK. – Bhavish Aggarwal, Co-founder, and CEO at OLA

Starting today, Ola is welcoming PHV and meter taxi drivers in Newport, Cardiff, and Vale of Glamorgan for additional and innovative training on driving and to register with the company via drive.olacabs.com.
