Apple’s September “Gather Round” event is just around the corner. Apple is getting ready for that and has decided to rearrange its very own operating system. The iPhone maker is issuing a new build of iOS 12. Apple’s main intention behind issuing the new iOS is that the iOS 12 developer beta will be the permanent fix to the constant upgrade notification. iOS 12 beta fix will obviously have some performance improvements. The new iOS 12 is designed not just for the latest models.

It is said to make the iOS more useful for those with older iPhones and iPads. For iPad users, iPhone X-inspired gestures and notification grouping will be introduced. It will give the iPad users some of the same comfort features as Apple’s premium smartphone. iOS 12 will also aim to take care of its good digital health. Screen Time of the new iOS 12 will reveal how long users spend on various apps and add options to try and reduce their dependency and how much time they spend on various apps. A new ARKit-based Measure app is being included.

This will help the users to determine the dimensions of items in 3D space using the iPhone or the iPad camera. iPhone’s apps such as Stocks, News, Weather and Voice Memos are getting a new make-over in the new iOS. Siri Shortcuts, customizable MeMoji, and third-party CarPlay navigation support are also included. However, the new feature of Group FaceTime would not be available at the time of the launch but is said to be released at a later time. Apple has also warned that the new iOS 12 developer beta version may not work properly and can result in the loss of data stored on the device.

Apple has suggested to try out any beta software on non-essential secondary devices to minimize the risk of losing data and to keep backups of data before starting the installation. New builds of the operating systems can be downloaded via the Apple Developer Center, or for devices enrolled in the test program, as an over-the-air update.
