Motorola had unveiled P30 and P30 Note for the Chinese market with little or no mention of the P30 Play. But today evening, Motorola officially launched a product page for the upcoming phone which later was pulled down. It is speculated that the new smartphone may soon be up for launch. From the brief time of launch, we have gathered about the specifications of the phone.
The Motorola P30 Play will be a 5.88-inched smartphone flaunting a 720x1520px IPS LCD (with a notch) with a screen aspect ratio of 19:9, and a screen ratio of 86%. There is to be a 64 GB of expandable storage and a 3,000mAh battery. The back of the phone will be made of 2.5D glass. The official introduction of Motorola P30 Play uses ceramic light-sensing technology. It is made of high-purity metal polysilicon powder CNC, and it has been formed by more than 30 processes such as 1250 revolutions double-side polishing.
Coming to the core configuration, the phone is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor from Qualcomm, clocked at 1.8 GHz. Current rumors suggest that the phone will be available in only a single memory configuration with 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. The Motorola P30 Play will run Android 8.0 with Lenovo’s ZUI 4.0 on top.
The P30 sports a dual camera of 13MP and 2MP respectively. The 13MP primary camera is paired with a f/2.0 aperture lens, while the secondary camera is coupled with a f/2.4 aperture lens. Key camera features include AI Portrait mode, Pro Mode, spot color mode, Dolby Sound, and more. The upcoming phone features an 8MP camera on the front with a f/2.2 aperture lens, AI smart beauty, night scene, background blur, and more.
It is worth mentioning that the fingerprint recognition and Motorola logo of the Motorola P30 Play are combined into one, and the nut R1 has the same effect.
The phone will be available at 1899 yuan(Rs 19,900 approx) and in two colors – bright black and ice jade.
