Last year, the US-based laptop and peripheral company, Razer launched its first gaming smartphone and received a good response. Last month, the company revealed that it is working on a second-generation Razer phone. Now an alleged benchmark of the gaming smartphone has appeared on Geekbench. The CPU benchmark listing reveals a few specifications of the Razer Phone 2, which has managed to score 2,026 points in the single-core test and 8,234 points in the multi-core test.

The alleged listing of the phone reveals that the smartphone will pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC using four Kryo 385 Silver CPU cores clocked at 1.77GHz and four Kryo 385 Gold CPU cores clocked at 2.8GHz. The RAM is listed to be 8GB and it will run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

The first Razer Phone, launched for gaming enthusiast, comes with high-end specifications and built-in desktop gaming technology. It sports 5.7-inch Sharp IGZO screen with a resolution of 2560X1440 pixels. The device runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, accompanied with 8GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, which is expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card. Razer Phone 2 sports a dual 12-megapixel + 13-megapixel camera on the back and has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture.

About the display, resolution or camera quality and battery backup of the upcoming second-generation smartphone, we hardly have any idea. However, we are expecting the smartphone to come up with a 120GHz refresh rate screen for a smoother appearance. Connectivity wise, we can expect the phone to offer the general ones like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and a USB-Type C port.
