Xiaomi has continued its smartphone market dominance in India by achieving the #1SmartphoneBrand for 4 consecutive quarters. Now Xiaomi has emerged as the number one Smart TV Brand in India.

As the leading brand in the smart television category, Xiaomi, the Chinese technology major, introduced its range of Smart TVs in India in February 2018 and successfully sold 500,000 units in the first six months, as per IDC Worldwide Quarterly Smart Home Device Tracker, 2018 Q2. Xiaomi also boasts of tripling its shipments in the smart TV space in the second quarter of 2018.

A few months back, Xiaomi Global’s VP Manu Kumar Jain told BGR India that the company’s 43-inch Mi TV 4A had been the company’s best-selling Smart TV in India to date, adding that “This achievement marks an industry first and is a key milestone for Xiaomi India. Mi LED TVs recently became the most rated TV on Flipkart with over 100,000 ratings and have garnered a lot of love from users across India.”

However, as of now, we know nothing about where Xiaomi stands in the overall television segment in India.

India is evidently a key market for Xiaomi who has been continually expanding its product line-up in India by launching new smart products including a new series of Xiaomi Smart TVs, Mi Band 3 fitness tracker, Mi Air Purifier 2S, Mi Home Security Camera 360, and Mi Luggage.
