Instagram is now testing a “new way to move through posts” in the mobile app; this will allow all the users to tap and see the next post conflicting to scroll vertically.

Now, after this change, you won’t have to scroll up or down through the feed; you can tap on any side, right, or left of the screen to backward or forward posts.

Instagram is also testing a new navigation style in the explore tab of the app. Though till now, there is no confirmation of this new feature coming to the Instagram app.
