Even after confirming earlier this year that Microsoft has discarded the plans it had for the virtual and mixed reality on Xbox One, Microsoft has secretly launched Outings, a Mixed reality app.

After the big announcement in June, people were not expecting any new upgrade from the company any day soon but recently the company was marked working on MR tools in the form of its new application which is now available on the Microsoft Store and can be easily downloaded from there.

And without letting out any information or any announcement the company has launched a mixed reality app named Outings, this app will let you explore through all the landmarks.

The app Outings will allow you to search high-quality travel stories about the beautiful locations from other travel places and blogs. The search result will always be according to your interest in every great sites. This app will always let you find your perfect spot.

Previously Microsoft merged its Evoke Studio and the Everyday Magic in one single entity like a part of the mixed reality and now the app also highlights a step in the same way. Outings app validates the continued interest of Microsoft in MR and will also resolve data from Bing Maps.

The application Outings is available for Windows Mixed Reality headsets and HoloLens and will also allow users to experience 3D visualizations of a wide range of the landmarks by analyzing data mapping.
