Samsung’s two new 2-in-1 devices, Chromebook Plus V2 LTE and Galaxy Book2, has hit the US markets to benefit users demanding always-connected Chrome OS allowing uninterrupted computing throughout the day, without having to splurge on premium laptops. With the addition of LTE, Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 is an improvement on the Chromebook Plus released this summer.

Samsung Galaxy Book 2Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 is especially beneficial to users relying on Internet-based apps and services to stream music and videos and to accomplish day-to-day tasks, claims Samsung. Powered by an Intel Celeron processor, the premium Chromebook comes equipped with a built-in pen that never needs charging; front and rear cameras; and a 12.2 inches FHD WUXGA LED display. The device has been priced at $599.99; a price totally justified by the device’s superior design and performance compared to its inexpensive counterparts; and is available for sale at Samsung.com; and at Best Buy and Verizon stores.

The Samsung Galaxy Book2, for its part, is being powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 mobile computing platform and has been equipped with what Samsung says is a ‘multi-workday battery’ lasting up to 20 hours; a full keyboard and S Pen; a 12 inches Super AMOLED display, and the ability to sync the phone to get real-time notifications through Samsung Flow. Priced at $999.99, Galaxy Book2 is available for sale on AT&T, Microsoft.com, and Samsung.com; and shall be made available at Sprint and Verizon later in the month.

Alanna Cotton, Senior Vice President and General Manager at Samsung Electronics America, has said, “By building out our 2-in-1 portfolio and adding LTE connectivity, we’re ensuring consumers can stay connected on the mobile computing device that’s perfect for them to get more done and express their creativity.”
