Another big-bang re-entry by Samsung, marked by its J series in the smartphone market. Samsung has officially announced its second Android Go Phone which will form a part of the Galaxy J series called the Samsung Galaxy J4 Core.

The phone has been found listed on a Brazilian website; Colombo prior to its official launch revealing its key design and specifications. As per the listing, it seems that the phone will be available in Black, Gold and Blue color options sporting a large screen with the latest aspect ratio. The first Android Go smartphone; the Galaxy J2 Core was launched back in August of this year.

The Samsung Galaxy J4 core is a smartphone made for the budget segment but does not compromise on high priority features like a large screen, battery and storage expandability. The smartphone has a 6-inch HD+ display with a 1480 x 720 px resolution. It runs on an unstated quad-core processor with 1.4 GHz frequency and 1 GB of RAM. The smartphone has 16 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 256 GB via a microSD card.

In comparison, Galaxy J4 Core gets a 6-inch HD TFT display with a resolution of 720 x 1480 pixels. The rear camera on Galaxy J4 Core is 8MP with f/2.2 aperture. It features a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The device ships with optimized apps for lower-end hardware to improve the user experience. It is a more light-weight version of Android Oreo, designed to work better on low-end smartphones with 512MB to 1GB RAM.

No information regarding the price of the Samsung Galaxy J4 Core is available as of now, but it might launch soon as almost all the details are already out.
