After Lenovo Smart Display, JBL Link View, and Google Home Hub; LG is the latest member to join the family of Smart Displays with its LG XBOOM AI ThinQ WK9.

With an 8-inch HD display that allows interaction with the same great Smart Display experience that has become characteristic of the newly innovated devices; users can now use the screen to access step-by-step recipe guides, engage in video calling with Google Duo, aided by a 5MP camera, and stream YouTube videos. Further features include its ability to allow users to use their voice to talk to the Google Assistant at any time.

In-keeping with JBL Link View’s practice, LG is also really promoting the speaker/sound quality on the WK9. Having partnered with Meridian Audio for the gadget to equip the WK9 with stereo 20W speakers; LG promises its users “crystal clear audio” as part of its package.

For interested users, the LG XBOOM AI ThinQ WK9 is initially launching in the United States, and “key markets in other regions” shall receive their supply of devices at a later date. The WK9 has a retail price of $300, although as part of a special promotion, LG is allowing early adopters to purchase it at a reduced price of $200.
