Nokia has officially launched its entry-level offering, Nokia 3.1 Plus, in China. The device was launched in India this October, and its Chinese counterpart has maintained the same specifications as the Indian model with a slightly different price.

Nokia 3.1 Plus has been priced at 1099 Yuan ($158.6) which is almost the same as the price for the 3+32GB variant launched in India, hinting at the conclusion that Nokia is looking for entry-level buyers with this positioning. Under the hood, the phone is featuring hardware that is pretty decent for its pricing and is being powered by the octa-core Helio P22 chipset with MG PowerVR GE8320 GPU and a 3500mAh battery. The 6-inch HD+ display, coupled with the 3500 mAh battery shall easily allow users to expect more than a day’s usage on the device on a single charge. It also has an aspect ratio of 18:9 without a notch, which promises to be a better alternative than the notch filled phones currently thriving in the market.

So far as its cameras are concerned, the handset sports a 13MP f/2.0 aperture sensor in the rear that has been paired with a 5MP f/2.4 aperture sensor for good quality bokeh images. Furthermore, users will be able to refocus shots even after the pictures have been clicked. The front of the phone features an 8MP selfie camera.

The Nokia 3.1 Plus is currently available in shades of White and Navy Blue. The Nokia 3.1 Plus may expect some tough competition from the slightly higher priced (exceeding 3.1 Plus’s price by a couple hundred Yuan) Honor 10 Lite with Kirin 710, Full HD+ display and 3400mAh battery in the Chinese market.
