As we move forward, more details are dripping out of the shell. Much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S10’s price and launch date leaked. The phone is anticipated to be unveiled at a Samsung Unpacked event that will occur right before Mobile World Congress 2019 on 20 February and is expected to be the cheapest and the most premium of all.
While the company is still preparing to launch its three variants of Galaxy S10 next year, a new leak showcases that all the three variants will sport the Infinity-O type display with the hole for selfie camera design. The standard Galaxy S10 will come with a curved display, a larger model called the Galaxy S10 Plus, and a more affordable model called the Galaxy S10 Lite, which will come without a curved display. Samsung is separately in the rumors for preparing the key accessories of the Galaxy S10 series. Olixar ahead of the launch has already started with its online pre-orders for the protective cases and covers of the Samsung Galaxy S10.
Along with price leak, sources have also mentioned that the Galaxy S10 launch is set for a dedicated Samsung Unpacked event. The smartphone will be available for pre-orders after its launch and will go on sale starting March 8. The availability schedule might vary globally.
The new flagship is also said to have the ability to wireless charging with other compatible devices. As per leaks, the phone is supposed to come with the ‘Infinity-O’ hole for a front-facing camera in one corner, lending yet more credence to this heavily-rumored design feature. The first two variants are seen to sport a triple camera set up at the back, while the Galaxy S10+ variant is seen to sport quad cameras at the rear.
The leaks also reveal that S10 will sport a 6.1-inch 2K+ Super AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio, S10+ will come a 6.4-inch 2K+ Super AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio and lastly S10 Lite will sport a 5.8-inch 2K+ Super AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio.
Well lastly about the pricing, the 5.8-inch S10 will have 128GB of storage and sell for £669; the standard S10 will come in either 128GB or 512GB of storage for £799 and £999, respectively. The S10 Plus comes in either 128GB, 512GB or 1TB, that will be priced at £899, £1,099 and £1,399.
By so far, as the leaks render the phone is to be powered by Snapdragon 855 or Exynos 9820 SoC under the hood. The phone is also to come with several design changes, and the most notable will be their display and ultra-thin bezels.
