Samsung Galaxy S10 continues to get more details leaked before its official launch in MWC 2019 in Barcelona. The latest one is related to the camera feature. Apparently, the company has registered in the Intellectual Property Office of the European Union a new trademark called “Artistic Live Focus”. Although the details have not confirmed, it is expected to be an upgrade of the Live Focus mode that Samsung launched in the Galaxy Note 8 almost a year ago.

Basically, Live Focus is a mode that uses the rear-camera to get better portrait images using both lenses at once. This allows users to adjust the amount of sharpness or blur of the captures, being able to adjust it at that moment or after having taken the photo. This feature is available not only in Note 8 but has also arrived this year to the Galaxy S9 and S9+ and Note 9.

As per rumors, the new Samsung Galaxy S10 would include a single sensor of 12-megapixels with optical stabilization and variable aperture (f/1.5 lens for low-light photography and f / 2.4 for the rest). The company would also launch an upgraded S10+ with triple rear camera setup on the market, which would also add a second 16-megapixel sensor with an aperture lens of f/1.9 and 123 degrees (wide-angle) FOV. A third 13-megapixel sensor with an aperture lens f / 2.4 and optical zoom, as well as a second optical image stabilizer, would be added to the top model.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 could be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in February. As in previous years, the company would hold a pre-congress event to announce its new flagship and possible variants. Therefore, there is no other way to wait to know for sure what the South Korean firm has really prepared for us. It seems, by the rumors, that the new S10 will be one of the most outstanding devices of all 2019.
