Xiaomi is one of the best manufacturers in the world to make smartphones with the overall best value for money. The Chinese firm has helped the company to make their phones usually one of the best in the segment and competitive for its quality-price ratio.
Despite having its own very powerful software layer on top of Android like MIUI, Xiaomi already bets on Android One program since last year with the Mi A1, Mi A2, and Mi A2 Lite. Now the company seems to be ambitious about Android Go software, which is a stripped-down version of Android designed to run on entry-level smartphones, and its first model has already gone through the first round of certifications.
Xiaomi Redmi Go has been passed through certification. It would be a device with Xiaomi hardware and running Google Android Go software with the latest version of Android operating system 9.0 Pie.
The device is expected to come with very modest features and only 1GB of RAM. A device possibly focused on the launch for Russia, India, and Indonesia, for now.
