Motorola has been working hard for the last four years with the launch of its most premium line of smartphones, offering modularity of accessories regardless of which version you choose or acquire, resulting in a similar design throughout the generations and versions presented.

And after the new information revealed the arrival of Moto Z4 Play with Snapdragon 710, 6GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of internal storage, now a new leak from Steve Hemmerstoffer (better known as @OnLeaks on Twitter) in collaboration with the CompareRaja reveals the possible final design of Moto Z4 Play, which until now is reported to be the cheapest model in the Moto Z line for 2019.

In the leaked renders, we see the direct successor to the Moto Z3 Play with just a rear camera and a drop-shaped notch on top of the screen to house the device’s front camera, proximity, and ambient light sensors. The images reinforce that the device will have extremely thin edges, besides a body made of aluminium in the side frame and possible plastic finishing in the back cover.

The magnetic pins on the back of the leaked Moto Z4 Play revealed will connect with the same design and pattern of the previous generation, reinforcing the commitment of Motorola with the modularity presented for the first time in 2016.

The leak does not reveal a fingerprint reader visible on the body of the smartphone; while previous versions offered the fingerprint sensor on the front panel or on the side of the device with a dedicated physical region, it looks like Motorola will be presenting the Moto Z4 Play with fingerprint under the screen using a CMOS sensor and illuminating the display in the region. to authenticate the device.

Still, beyond the photos, the leak revealed a 360-degree video of the smartphone, highlighting all sides of the device and reinforcing the existence of the reversible Type-C USB connector and also the return of the connector for 3.5 mm headphones in the P2 standard.

With a drop-shaped notch on the screen, this will be one of Motorola’s best-performing models so far, and it is possible that the Moto Z4, the most powerful variant of the 2019 line, can arrive with the same solution for thinner edges.

The handset will be launched in the coming months by Motorola, but there is no definitive announcement date yet, but since Motorola has a tradition in presenting the Moto Z line in June, it is possible that we will see the fourth generation of the family at the beginning of the sixth month of 2019.
