We already know that the Nokia 9 PureView will be released in the coming months with five rear cameras and the new chipset Snapdragon 855, Qualcomm’s high-end processor for the year 2019. As of now, with the Snapdragon 855, Nokia may provide more processing power, better efficiency, and full 5G support.
As the latest leaks reinforce new information for the device, we know so far that the Nokia 9 should mark the return of the PureView brand to the manufacturer and inaugurate a new crop of smartphones focused on great innovations and great development in their cameras. With the Nokia 9 PureView, we will have the first smartphone with five rear cameras, but each sensor capability has not yet been revealed.
According to a publication, the device Leaks on Twitter, the Nokia 9 PureView will arrive in August 2019 with five rear cameras, a 2K resolution screen with a “true end-to-end display”, and a circular notch for the front camera, in addition, support for 5G networking, thanks to Snapdragon 855.
The main highlights of the device would be its:
- Circular notch screen for the front camera
- Snapdragon 855 processor with 5G
- 8 GB of RAM
- 128 GB or 512 GB of internal storage
- Five Inherited Rear Cameras on the back of the device in 12 MP + 12 MP + 16 MP + 16 MP + 8 MP Sensors setup
- Android 9.0 Pie is pre-installed with the Android One program
The specs are still just rumours since the device would take a while before being officially unveiled, but because it is an upgraded version of the model, it is likely to receive a better camera setup, increase in performance and even higher price due to new screen and chipset.
