Must Read

The Chinese Oppo has put several surprising products on the market this year, including the Oppo Find X, a borderless smartphone with a pop-up camera. The company intends to show more innovations next year. For example, Oppo reportedly will display the first folding smartphone/tablet at MWC 2019.

Oppo Limn, possible new tablet computer

On December 29, 20018, Guangdong Oppo Mobile Telecommunications Corp. filed a notable trademark with the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) for the Limn brand. The application was submitted by agent Domingo Galletero Company from Alicante, Spain. This company has acted more often in the name of Oppo in the past.

The trademark is classified as Class 9, which includes tablets, software, smartwatches, smartphones, and accessories. Limn can also be translated as ‘painting, drawing, describing.

For the time being, it remains unclear what kind of product the Oppo Limn will be exactly. There are as yet no Oppo tablets available. It may be that the foldable tablet has been reported on several occasions by the international media in recent months. However, it can also become a completely different product.

In any case, we can say that trademarks that Oppo has applied for in the past year in Europe have always resulted in an actual release. Therefore, the chance is that the Oppo Limn will appear at MWC 2019.
