Over the years, the Xbox team has tried to improve the way in which players can share the clips and screenshots taken from their consoles. It is now easier to do so with the integration of social networks like Twitter, but there are still flaws in the application, and now Xbox DVR has been launched to solve them.

The ability of the Xbox One to record videos and capture screens during games natively is really impressive and convenient. Microsoft’s team has certainly done a great job with the Windows 10 community’s feature in its core function, but if we move the page to share those catches, the story already gets a bit different.

Even though you can instantly share your clips on social networks, it’s still a bit difficult to transfer the captures to a computer directly. Most people post their clips on social networks and then download them or send the file to OneDrive, a task that, in a way takes more time.

However, others use the Xbox DVR, a platform that allows you to download your captures from the internet easily. Any player who has tried to save their catch through the official Xbox site knows why the tool is one of the best gifts on the green side of the Force.

And speaking of good news in the green nation, we now know that the Xbox DVR is no longer exclusive to the web since, in early 2019, the app landed on the homes of Android and iOS.

Using the application, you can easily (and quickly!) Find your clips, share them, save them, and have access even to make basic edits. Of course, in its mobile version, the app does not feature all the nuances of the site, such as integration with YouTube and Twitch, comments, and achievements, but it is still an indispensable application if you are part of the Xbox family!
