LG, which is one of the biggest Korean companies, is reportedly developing a new generation of the Q smartphone range, in this case, to complement the popular Q7 we have known in recent months. Now we know some features of LG Q9 that are key to understanding what we can expect from this device, with it having gone through the performance test of Geekbench.

According to the previous reports, the LG Q9 processor would be powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor, one of the most powerful in the mid-range segment and the predecessor to the newly launched Snapdragon 710. The new GekBench listing says it will be powered by Snapdragon 821 processor. However, the SD660 is still one of the competing chipsets. The listing also reveals the performance test to the MSM8996, which is the equivalent of the Snapdragon 820, the high-end processor of 2016, which may sound like something old, but is still a processor designed for high-end performance and can still be good mid-range smartphones.

The LG Q9 will be a mobile rather oriented to the premium mid-range segment, taking into account this important detail of its processor. For the rest, we see that the RAM memory of the device for the base variant could be only 4GB, although there might be a specifical edition of the smartphone with 6GB RAM and more internal storage than the base version, while the software with which it has passed the test is on Android 8.1.0 Oreo, so, for now, the device would much likely launch with Android 9.0 Pie OS.

Other features that have been filtered so far have been a 6.1-inch screen and a 3550mAh battery capacity. The device scored 1789 points in the single-core test, while in the multi-core test, the device scored a decent 3680 points, Although this could much improve in the final version of the device, which would launch in the market soon.
