Here comes your new year wish, Huawei, the Chinese telecommunications company, introduced the MateBook 13 yesterday at the CES. This exactly looks like how you always wanted your MacBook to run on Windows; it’s your wish come true.

Huawei MateBook 13 is almost a miniature version of MateBook X Pro, which was announced at MWC last year.

The Huawei MateBook 13 comes in a 13-inch display with a 2160×1440 pixel resolution, meaning the pixel density would be 200 pixels per inch. The device features a metal body of 14.9mm thickness, weighing 1.28 kilograms. MateBook 13 is powered by the 8th-gen Intel Core of CPUs series. The onboard RAM is 8GB, with 256GB or 512GB PCIe-based solid-state drive storage.

One of the variants of the device also comprises an NVIDIA GeForce MX150 GPU with GDDR5 RAM 2GB, whereas the others offer Intel’s integrated graphics.

The side of the Huawei MateBook 13 has two USB Type-C ports with a 3.5mm audio jack for the headsets, but there is no Thunderbolt 3 support. The device will support 5.0 Bluetooth, a fingerprint sensor, a hall sensor, and also a light sensor. The device supports fast charging, giving a charge of 2.5 hours in just fifteen minutes. The battery of MateBook 13 will allow you to play video in FullHD offline for a span of ten hours.

The Core i5 version of MateBook 13, available in Mystic Silver color, will cost you INR 70,025 approx, which equals $999.
