Sony has published the December charts of the best-selling games in its digital store’s European and American segments. The top-selling game of December for PS4 was PUBG which became the leader in the USA but failed to win first place in Europe, giving up the position to FIFA 19, which rose by two places at once in a month. A significant role in the growth was played by the Christmas and New Year sales for it.
It is noteworthy that in the third month of Red Dead Redemption 2 release, it collapsed significantly in the Europe region from the first to the seventh position, freeing the way for the God of War and Grand Theft the Auto the V. In the US, the decline was smaller as it came down to the fourth place. However, the Rockstar Games almost did not participate in any festive promotions for the game, so this result is understandable.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), launched in 2017, breaks into the market with an unprecedented perspective of traditional first-person shooter games. One hundred players land, with nothing, on a desert island, where they must find their own weapons and try to survive the last. PUBG inaugurated a new genre that later became known as Battle Royale.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds ( PUBG ) is a massively-wide multiplayer online battle video game developed by Brendan Greene and published by Bluehole for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, Sony PlayStation 4, Android, and iOS. At first glance, PUBG may seem like a simple shooter FPS game, but its essence is that it is a realistic Battle Royale game that advances with the feedback from the community.
