In a recent press release on Monday, Samsung revealed that the South Korean smartphone giant was all set to launch the much-awaited budget Samsung Galaxy M-series smartphone on January 28, 2019. In a bid to outsmart other smartphone competition in the market, the M series would be consumer-oriented, targeting the young millennials, providing them with a beast of a smartphone with high-end displays, cameras, batteries, and powerful processors.

With its first launch in India, much is kept under wraps. This time, Samsung has decided to gain back its customers, many of whom have decided to opt for Xiaomi’s smartphones in recent times owing to its budget-friendly nature and great specs. Samsung Galaxy M series would be launched in India prior to a Global release in an attempt to thwart rival Xiaomi’s popularity in the world’s second-biggest smartphone consumer base.

As to the availability of the three new Samsung Galaxy M series smartphones in India, the purchase can only be made through Samsung’s online shop and via Amazon. This initiative was taken to up its Online sales percentage, which has dipped after Xiaomi’s recent success in the Indian market.

Catering to a vast consumer base in India, Samsung manages its business in the subcontinent through 250,000 retail outlets and more than 2,000 exclusive stores, backed by 2,000 service centers. Samsung has also recently marked its presence in the Indian Subcontinent after establishing the world’s biggest mobile phone manufacturing plant near Delhi and the largest mobile phone store in Bengaluru. The made-in-India phones would be pocket-friendly with a price range of Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 with updated smartphone specs, with the aim to provide services to the potential 350 million non-smartphone users across the country.
