Vivo Apex 2019

The Vivo Apex’s appeal to the entire market was that it the first smartphone from Vivo which sported the famous notch-less, bezel-less design. It was launched in India in 2018. As of this year’s Vivo release, a press invitation was leaked which brought to the surface the news that Vivo is ready to launch the next generation Vivo Apex smartphone, the Vivo Apex 2019. As is the case with any other next-generation phone, the Vivo Apex 2019 will feature more improved specifications as compared with the last Vivo Apex.

According to the leaked poster, Vivo will announce the Vivo Apex 2 on January 24, 2019. The leaked poster has a code name for the upcoming Vivo smartphone, water-drop. This code name may actually refer to one of its features, a feature which has, in fact, very trendy with the latest smartphones. The code name may mean that the Vivo Apex 2 will be sporting a water-drop notch design on its display. The leaked photos also indicate at the smartphone featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor.  Just like its predecessor, the Vivo Apex 2019 is expected to come with a bezel-less design and with a higher screen to body ratio of almost 90%. The new smartphone will feature either a 6.4 or a 6.5 inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution.

It will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. As for the camera specification, it is not clear yet what kind of camera it will be sporting. But if it is to follow the latest trend in the smartphone arena, the Vivo Apex 2019 has to feature double or triple camera setup with a telephoto or a super wide angle lens. It will support fast charging in the 4000 mAh Li-ion battery. It will obviously run on Android 8.1 Oreo or Android 9 Pie. The price of the smartphone has not been announced yet but if we take into account the previous model, the new smartphone may be priced around INR 36,000.
