Microsoft expanded its Surface lineup by launching Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 in India. The devices will be available for commercial and enterprise customers through authorized resellers. Both Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 initially debuted in New York last year with 8 gen Core processors. Both are more of an iterative update with a little specifications bump.
Microsoft Surface Pro 6 features redesigned architecture under the hood and also combines quad-core, 8th Generation Intel Core processor. The tablet features a 12.3-inch PixelSense Touch Display with 2736×1824 pixels resolution. There is an intelligent inking feature as well.
The Surface Pro 6 packs either 8GB or 16GB of RAM, which is powered by 8th generation Intel U-series CPUs and onboard Intel UHD Graphics 620, along with various SSD options which go all the way up to 1TB. The tablet also has Mini-DisplayPort, 3.5mm audio jack, Surface Connect port, Surface Type Cover, and a microSD card reader.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 features a 13.5-inch PixelSense Touch Display with 2256×1504 resolutions. It’s powered by either an 8th generation Intel Core i5 or Core i7 CPU and features a full-sized USB 3.0 port, Mini DisplayPort, a Surface Connector port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
It features a 13.5-inch display with a resolution of 2256×1504 pixels and a storage option of up to 1TB. Microsoft claims that its Surface Pro Laptop 2 is more powerful than its previous iteration, with a battery life of 14.5 hours.

Both devices will be made available in India via eCommerce platforms Amazon India and Flipkart, as well as on select retail stores like Croma, Reliance, Vijay Sales, and other retailers across the country. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 model with Core i7 processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD storage has been priced at Rs 139,999.
Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 model with Core i7 processor, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD storage will cost Rs 148,999 at offline stores.
