Festive February for Playstation Plus Users: Cloud Storage Expansion to 100GB

Must Read

As January 2019 rolled on to its last day with the New year festive cheer still on, PlayStation has some exciting news up its sleeve to bring on the cheer with a bang!

To start with the string of good news, first online is the announcement of the expansion of its cloud storage space from 10GB to 100GB for PS Plus members, providing scope to the PS4 owners to keep all those game saves intact along with character profiles. Cloud storage enables PS4 users to save their game progress and then resume the gameplay smoothly on another system whenever one wants to return to the game without any loss of progress.

Not only this, brace yourselves for more fun as free games are in for release from February 5, 2019, starting with For Honor, the melee action game from Ubisoft, with all its all-guns-blazing war experience all geared up to unfold for the players, where one can choose between Viking, Knight, and Samurai factions as per one’s preferred fighting style. Boasting of as many as 18 different PvP maps, this game is really something to look forward to!

Next on line is Hitman: The Complete First Season, where the player takes up the role of Agent 47, the world’s ultimate and deadliest assassin, as the player travels around the globe to take down the targets in both traditional and non-traditional ways ranging from the likes of sniper rifles to expired spaghetti sauce. If we were to put it this way, the game leaves no ‘weapon’ unturned to help the player become the ultimate assassin.

All in all, February is slated for an interesting PlayStation Plus line-up, including more cool games like Divekick, PS3 (Cross-Buy with PS Vita), Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, PS3 Gunhouse, PS Vita (Cross-Buy with PS4) and Rogue Aces, PS Vita (Cross-Buy with PS4). On the lookout for a gaming console? Get the Sony PS4 Pro at an irresistible deal.

The PS3 and PS Vita game out this month will be available for a few extra days, until March 8, 2019, with the PS4 games being available until March 5, 2019, which is happy news as that’s exactly when the next monthly games lineup will come up to keep the users hooked on to PlayStation Plus all the time. However, this also calls for a heads-up for the users to download the PS3 and PS Vita games as they will no longer be offered as part of the PS Plus monthly games line-up after March 8, 2019.

The string of good news doesn’t end here as the PlayStation VR fans have reason to rejoice, too, as PlayStation Plus has also announced big discounts on top PS VR titles, exclusively for PS Plus members, which include 50% off Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-Ality and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition, 25% off Borderlands 2 VR, and 20% off Astro Bot Rescue Mission.

The users are to rush and get their games sooner than soon as this sale runs only until February 5. With its little gamut of engaging games to be out this month, PlayStation Plus upholds one of its slogans: ‘Live In Your World, Play In Ours. (PS2)’
