Xiaomi is preparing to launch its new product in India soon. The brand, which is mostly known as a smartphone brand, has launched products in multiple categories, including lifestyle. According to the reports, the company will soon launch its smart shoes in the Indian market dubbed as Xiaomi Mi Sport Shoes. The report further adds it could be priced at Rs. 2,999.
According to sources, Xiaomi has designed this shoe with the new fishbone locking structure. The company claims that users can also wash this shoe in a washing machine. The company can launch these shoes in different sizes for men and women.
Well, this isn’t an entirely new product; instead, it is said to launch a rebranded version of Xiaomi Mijia Sneakers 2, which currently retails in China at CNY 199 (roughly Rs 2,110). The Xiaomi Mijia Sneakers 2 is manufactured using a 5-in-1 uni-molding process.
The molding process is said to provide better stability and support to the feet. The upper part of the sneaker is designed using a 3D high-elastic knitting process. The inner part of Mijia Sneakers 2 is said to have a ‘breathable sole, and surprisingly the shoes can be thrown in the washing machine for cleaning.
The Mijia Sneakers 2 was launched in China in five color options, including a White and Orange version for women. As per the report, Xiaomi might bring four color options of this new Mi smart shoes – Black, Floral Blue, Flower Grey, and White.
Xiaomi is tight-lipped about the Mijia Sneakers 2 India launch date, but the report indicates that the smart shoes might debut in the coming week. The company can make it available in Mi.com and offline Exclusive Mi home stores.
