The Resident Evil 3 remake could be very close

Resident Evil 3 Reborn

After the sales numbers brought by the remake of Resident Evil 2, which in its first days has already sold more than 3 million units, it is not surprising that the third installment is already being considered.

If a few days ago, we learned that the eighth installment is already in the process of creation, now it seems that a remake of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis could have priority for the Japanese company.

Capcom has done its studies and market analysis and recently called to see if the fans would see well the departure of another remaster. While everything points to the idea, it was already taken beforehand. An account, endorsed by successes of the past:

I’ve heard that Capcom will not release Resident Evil 8 before the third-party remake, there’s no news that Resident Evil: Code Veronica is being considered, fans should know that Capcom is not thinking of remaking Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5 and Resident. Evil 6. The two games they are focused on now are Resident Evil 3: Remake and Resident Evil 8.

This remake of the third part would come before Resident Evil 8, and for now, as specified, has not said a word to launch a new edition or remaster Resident Evil: Code Veronica, one of the most emblematic and beloved sequels. Of the trilogy formed by Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 nothing has been raised, and it seems that Capcom has no interest in remaking them or even giving them important for the future of the saga or the license. At the moment, the only two important games for the company are the remake and the eighth sequel of the main series, both titles based on the all-terrain RE Engine.

Just remember that the third part of the saga was parallel to the second, visiting some locations of this (which would not have to work so much if you share certain scenarios). The protagonist was Jill Valentine, who returned after being in the original game. And one of the most memorable things was the villain, Nemesis, who at the cry of STARS did not stop chasing us throughout the adventure.
