Officially announced: Vivo has established its sub-brand iQOO for smartphones in China

A new sub-brand launched for the New Year. Vivo introduced the iQOO Mobile Phone sub-brand with a futuristic teaser. The official website ‘iqoo.com’ has information about the Vivo but nothing about the new sub-brand.

Earlier, Vivo official microblog reprinted the new brand “iQOO mobile phone” post, and wrote “New Year welcomes new friends!”, This source post only mentions “Hello, this is iQOO,” the promotional material is Incorporating the sense of technology, and there is a clear “iQOO” in the middle. And, of course, the way you pronounce iQOO is up to you.

Various Chinese smartphone OEMs have adopted a dual-brand strategy, for instance, Huawei launched its Honor sub-brand, while Xiaomi has recently split Redmi in a new brand. And today, Vivo has launched a new sub-brand called ‘iQOO.’ The confirmation states its new sub-brand through a Weibo post from the company.

The Weibo certification information reveals that iQOO is the latest new sub-brand of the Vivo Mobile Communications Co. Ltd. The Chinese media speculates that the iQOO will operate independently. The iQOO brand was introduced only a few hours ago, and it has already amassed over 15,000 fans on Weibo.

Although Vivo has not disclosed more details for iQOO mobile phones, we hope that that new smartphone under its sub-brand is on its way.
