Vivo recently showcased its upcoming iQOO smartphone in a live television broadcast, but before it could barely pass a week since its unveil of its official sub-brand iQOO, we confirmed its upcoming launch through an image that is posted on its microblogging platform Weibo.

The first glimpse of the new Vivo iQOO Android smartphone appeared in a television broadcast yesterday. Though the broadcast did not strictly focus on the smartphone, we see a model holding the phone in her hand. It is visible that the phone showcases a sleek design featuring triple camera sensors on the phone’s rear.

Further, the image reveals that the top end of the smartphone will pack 12GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. A few models support 12 GB RAM, like the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT and Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus, which will be launching tomorrow. The model will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. This will make the first Snapdragon 855 device that will feature 44W charging supporting NFC and a 4000mAh battery.

Additionally, the phone is confirmed to have a sixth-generation and an in-display fingerprint sensor along with the usual set of connectivity options and an Android-powered OS, with a larger capacity battery.

It seems that the newly born sub-brand iQOO will be mainly focused on premium flagship smartphones that might be announced later this month and are expected to sell worth over 5,000 Yuan.
