Mercedes-Benz would make its Formula E debut this year with its brand new EQ Silver Arrow 01, which would make Mercedes-Benz the first automaker to participate in both Formula E and Formula 1. The Silver Arrow 01 looks promising and it can give some tough competition to everyone else around it.
The machine will pump out up to 340HP during qualifiers and in FanBoost mode (272HP in normal racing, 306HP in attack mode), and hit 62MPH in just 2.8 seconds. The 52kWh battery will keep its engine running for the entirety of the race. According to motorsport team lead Toto Wolff, there is still a lot of work left to do for the two cars to participate in the Formula E on 15th December.
The teaser version of the Mercedes-Benz EQ Silver Arrow 01 has been released by the company ahead of the International Motor Show in Geneva to be held between 7th to 17th March 2019.
