Twitter understands the importance of visual content and thus trying to move into TwitSnap. Swiping to the left will land you to the entirely new camera that lets you capture the media. Point to note is that, for now, the Twitter Camera doesn’t support uploads. You’ll have to capture a new photo or video.

The new Twitter Camera possess an immersive format that places the Tweet text right before your media. This opens the opportunity to media brands and organizations for surfacing more visual ads in the Feed.

It is also promoting live-streaming through Periscope. With this update, Twitter is directly going to compete with popular giants like Snapchat and Instagram.
