This new version includes big changes to enhance pictures and video on the app and to encourage users to promote photo and video sharing on the platform. Twitter understands the importance of visual content and thus trying to move into TwitSnap. Swiping to the left will land you to the entirely new camera that lets you capture the media. Point to note is that, for now, the Twitter Camera doesn’t support uploads. You’ll have to capture a new photo or video.
The new Twitter Camera possess an immersive format that places the Tweet text right before your media. This opens the opportunity to media brands and organizations for surfacing more visual ads in the Feed.
We're updating the Twitter camera over the next few days to make it simpler to use. Capture and share what's happening with a swipe and few taps right from your Home timeline.
But wait, there's more! Your Tweet will also stand out in timelines with our new media-forward layout. https://t.co/0Ik0KC2UiY
