Xiaomi today launched their Qingping Bluetooth thermometer and hygrometer. The thermometer is already funding on the platform, which comes with a connected electronic ink screen with it.
The new device shows the information with electronic ink, having minimal energy requirements for light. If the room is bright and warm enough from the sun or a lamp, it can quickly show the information it has, while you can easily read it from wherever you are.
You can also see the information through the application after you connect the thermometer to it via Bluetooth. In this way, it is easy to keep data and to keep a history of the temperature. The Qingping Bluetooth thermometer uses a CR2430 battery while it comes with a thickness of only 14mm. Due to the very low-consumption screen, its battery can last up to 8 to 12 months in a homeroom.
Xiaomi has also developed a Bluetooth Gateway hub that can interconnect its Bluetooth and WiFi-based smart home appliances. If you have this hub and have paired the sensor with Mi home app, you can automatically start with home automation.
This new accessory can be linked to Mi Home and will cost 99 Yuan (Rs. 1,025) in China.
