After the Galaxy S10 has been officially presented, we are already carefully looking ahead to the Galaxy Note 10, which is expected around September 2019. Traditionally, the high-end Note phones are equipped with a stylus pen. In addition, these devices are just a little more advanced than the S series of that year. The new Note 10 has been given the internal code name Da Vinci. You can assume that it will be a 5G smartphone, finally, a 5G model has already been released from the S10.

Telephone specifications and available colors

Samsung’s flagship will probably have more similarities with the S10 5G. Consider the camera system; a quadruple-camera on the back and a dual camera on the front. It is possible that 4K HDR video will be added, as we now also see with various competing models. To get an idea of the new design, PhoneArena had renders designed for the upcoming Galaxy Note. The device is likely to appear in four colors; yellow, green, blue, and pink.

The Galaxy S10 is standard equipped with 8GB of memory, which is a doubling compared to the S9. The Galaxy Note 10 is usually equipped with the same processor, but with more RAM than the S-series. Last week, Samsung announced a new mobile DRAM chip with a whopping 12GB of RAM, you can, therefore, assume that the Note 10 will have 12GB of memory. This makes your smartphone just as powerful as your laptop. To keep the device affordable, it seems likely that a basic version with less memory will also be released.

If we can believe the rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will be equipped with a 6.66-inch screen with a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. The current Note is equipped with a 6.4-inch display since the screen edges become narrower, the overall dimensions of the device will not be much larger, but you will get an even larger display at your disposal. Furthermore, you can assume that the new Galaxy will also have an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner.

2019 model gets updated S Pen

The double selfie camera will be placed on the screen just like the S10. Although a patent has recently surfaced for an S Pen with a zoom camera. This could eventually replace the front camera, but there is a good chance that this will not yet be the case with the Note10. Nevertheless, you can assume that Samsung will again make improvements to the stylus pen. Partly in view of the code name ‘Da Vinci’.

Leonardo da Vinci was a well-known artist and painter, some well-known works by da Vinci are Mona Lisa and The Last Supper. Never before has a Galaxy smartphone been given the codename of an artist. This could indicate that Samsung will add even more creative drawing functions to its new top model. Details on this are still lacking.

In addition, there is a good chance that the Bixby button will become adjustable. Samsung is of course very proud of its own speech assistant, nevertheless, the Google Assistant is simply better. Note 9 has a separate button on the side of the device to activate Bixby. Many users would like to see that this button can be set as desired.

Finally, you can assume that the battery life will also be improved. The S10 series is also equipped with a higher capacity battery than before. For example, the 5G model has a 4,500 mAh battery. The current Note has a 4,000 mAh battery, this will be at least equalized.

What will the new Galaxy Note10 cost?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will probably be introduced at the end of August, after which the device will be available from the beginning of September 2019. Then we arrive at the price. Unfortunately, high-end smartphones become more expensive every year. During the introduction, you could buy the Galaxy Note 9 for a starting price of €1000 for a separate device without a subscription. For this, you will receive 6GB RAM / 128GB memory. Since the recently introduced S10 Plus already has a starting price of € 1000, it seems likely that the Note 10 will get a starting price of € 1100.

There are rumors that Samsung has another top model in development. This device will probably be placed under the Galaxy S10e, this is currently the cheapest S-series smartphone. At the end of last year, LetsGoDigital reported that the Korean manufacturer had submitted a series of trademark applications for Rize10, Rize20, and Rize30. This may be the name of Samsung’s new smartphone series. These phones are expected to fall between the high-end S series and the midrange A series.
