OPPO is rumored to introduce AX5s smartphone in Taiwan, and it is expected to be launched as A5s in other markets. The handset shares similar traits to last year’s OPPO A5 smartphone. The OPPO A5s sports a waterdrop-style notch display and is driven by MediaTek’s Helio P35 chipset, which runs at a slightly higher clock speed compared to Snapdragon 450.
The phone features a 6.2-inch IPS LCD panel which comes equipped with a waterdrop-style notch and offers an HD+ screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. It is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 chipset along with 3 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage.
Oppo A5s features a 6.2-inch In-cell display with 720 x 1520 HD+ resolutions, 19:9 aspect ratios, and a waterdrop notch at the top. It is powered by MediaTek’s 12nm Helio P35 octa-core processor. The phone features a fingerprint sensor and faces unlock as well.
For photography, the OPPO A5s rocks dual rear cameras. The setup includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary shooter with f/2.2 and f/2.4 apertures, respectively. The front camera comes with an 8-megapixel f/2.0 shooter for selfies and video calling.
The OPPO A5s come in new color options – Black and Red, instead of Blue and Pink. Further details about the pricing are yet to be known.
