Apple Arcade Announced, the First Paid Service for Mobile Games

The Cupertino company has joined the trend to create pay services for the video game industry. Last week, Google brought Stadia with which you can play by streaming and today Apple Arcade is announced, an exclusive service for iOS devices that through a monthly subscription will allow you to play exclusive titles.

The announcement was made during Apple Event, where he also introduced the new credit card, your magazine subscription service, and the new app for Apple TV.

Apple Arcade Service The Apple Arcade service will not have AAA and multiplatform titles that exist in other services, but it will be based on mobile games that you can enjoy on iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple TVs. For now, they have just over a hundred exclusive games; more will be added over time. For this, they have made alliances with companies such as Konami, Sega, Devolver Digital, and more. They even presented a game in which the legendary Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of the Final Fantasy franchise, is working.

You can play it without the required connection after you download and you can also share it with your family with the same subscription. It will be downloaded directly from the App Store. Apple Arcade promises that the data of the users will not be collected. This will prevent your information to be sold to other brands for publicity.

The price or the date on which Apple Arcade will be available is not disclosed but it will be during the fall of 2019. Initially, it will be available in 150 countries.
