Huawei had launched its flagship P30 Pro and P30 in Paris last month, and now the Chinese smartphone major has launched the smartphones in New Delhi, India at noon today.

The Huawei P30 Pro as a flagship device has its most top-of-the-line features. It comes with a 3D curved glass at the front, and at the rear, it gives the device a premium look and an elegant feel. As per design, it has very thin bezels and curved edges.

At the front, the novelty features a 6.47-inch Full HD+ OLED screen with a resolution of 1080 – 2340 pixels. The display houses the front camera inside a water-drop notch and also has an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device is packed with Kirin 980 processor coupled with ARM Mali-G76MP10 GPU. The SoC is paired with 8GB RAM and has storage options of 128GB / 256GB / 512GB, further expandable up to 256GB via NM card.

The most significant buzz-making feature of the Huawei P30 Pro is its camera. The device includes a quad-camera setup at the back with support for 5X optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 50x digital zoom. The primary camera consists of a 40MP f/1.6 SuperSpectrum sensor with OIS and a second lens with a 20MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle sensor.

Coming to the Huawei P30 Lite, it is a trimmed version of the standard P30 flagship device. The phone is powered by Kirin 710, Huawei’s middle-range mobile platform. Additionally, the phone packs rear fingerprint sensor instead of an in-display fingerprint reader that is more prevalent for the expensive P30 and P30 Pro smartphones. The P30 Lite has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

In terms of optics, the phone packs triple rear cameras consisting of 24 MP primary camera, and 8 MP wide-angle lens along with a 2 MP camera for the depth effect. At the front, it gets a 32 MP camera for selfies and making video calls.

A 3,340 mAh battery fuels the Huawei P30 Lite. It claims for QuickCharge, but unlike the Huawei P30 that supports 22.5 W charge, it supports 18 W charge. On the software front, the phone is backed with EMUI 9.0 based Android 9.0 Pie OS.

The Huawei P30 Pro has been priced starting at Rs 71,990 for the 8GB+128GB base variant. Whereas the P30 Lite starts at Rs 19,990 for the base 4GB+128GB variant and Rs 22,990 for the 6GB+128GB variant.
